1. Introduction

Welcome to VehicleIntel. By accessing or using our website and services (the "Service"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Service Description

VehicleIntel provides vehicle provenance reports, historical data aggregates (DVLA, DVSA, MIAFTR, PNC), and AI-driven valuation and mechanical risk heuristics. All data is sourced from third-party official ledgers or calculated algorithmically.

3. Data Sourcing, APIs, and Limitations

Our Service relies heavily on synchronous connections to third-party Application Programming Interfaces (APIs), including but not limited to the DVLA, DVSA, MIAFTR, Police National Computer (PNC), Finance and Leasing Association (FLA), and Vehicle Data Global (VDG).

• Data Latency: There may be an inherent delay between an event occurring (e.g., a vehicle being written off, settling a finance agreement, or being registered as stolen) and that event propagating to the databases we query.
• Upstream Outages: We cannot guarantee the absolute uptime of our service if government or third-party APIs experience outages. If a specific database (e.g., MIAFTR) is temporarily offline during your check, your report will indicate that the data could not be verified.
• Completeness: We present the data exactly as it is returned by the official registers. We do not independently verify, audit, or guarantee the absolute truthfulness of the data.

4. Valuations & AI-Generated Estimates Disclaimer

A core component of VehicleIntel includes Market Price Estimates, predictive maintenance scoring, and AI-driven forensic analysis. You must exercise independent judgement when relying on these figures.

• AI Estimations (Free Tier): Market prices provided in our Free Check are estimated using mathematical depreciation curves, aggregated listing data, and our proprietary AI algorithms (which analyze make, model, age, and MOT condition). These are estimates only and do not represent a guaranteed offer to purchase or sell.
• Trade Valuations (Premium Tier): Dealer-grade valuations (Trade, Retail, Private) are supplied dynamically by third-party automotive data providers. These are industry guide prices. Local market fluctuations, specific vehicle condition, factory optional extras, and negotiation dynamics will affect the true realizable value of any vehicle.
• No Advisory Capacity: Our estimates, including projected running costs, AI confidence scores, or "Buy/Avoid" algorithmic insights, do not constitute financial, legal, or professional mechanical advice.

4. Fair Usage and Automated Access

Automated scraping, botting, or unauthorized mass-extraction of our vehicle reports is strictly prohibited. We employ heavy rate-limiting and reserve the right to permanently block IP addresses or accounts that abuse our platform infrastructure or exhaust our downstream API limits.

5. Purchases and Trade Accounts

Premium Checks: Due to the immediate delivery of digital vehicle data, purchases of Premium checks are final and non-refundable once the report has been successfully generated and displayed.

Trade Accounts: B2B Motor Trade accounts are subject to account verification. Trade pricing and bulk access privileges may be revoked if suspicious activity or terms violations are detected.

6. Open Government Licence (OGL)

Where public sector information (such as DVLA and DVSA data) is utilized, it is reproduced under the Open Government Licence v3.0. VehicleIntel is an independent service and is neither affiliated with nor endorsed by the DVLA or DVSA.
